Like a scene straight from a storybook, Lisa and Gerid tied the knot under a canopy of trees, awash in a sea of dreamy bohemian pastels at their wedding this past July at Wellers Carriage House in Saline, Michigan. Adorned with a crown of flowers perfectly paired with her off-the-shoulder Lauren Elaine “Aurelia” gown, Lisa’s wedding look was nothing short of heavenly. Here’s a look at their amourous affair, poetically captured by photographer Jen Boris.
GOWN FEATURED: A custom “Jasmine” by Lauren Elaine.
Mermaid gowns ooze glamour. They drip with drama, and they command a room (and reception!) like no other silhouette. They’re stylishly modern, and feel right at home at a glittering and glossy wedding celebration. Need an example? Have a look at these beyond brilliant images (and video teaser), captured by Encor Studio, featuring our glowing bride Michelle, and her custom Lauren Elaine “Jasmine” gown. From her traditional ceremony, to her editorial-worthy bridal party portraits atop a sleek rooftop, Michelle radiates style. Sometimes our brides just blow us away! Whether it’s unique destination, a non-traditional ceremony, or a celebration to rival all others – we’re frequently left speechless and in pure awe when our brides share their gorgeous wedding images. Such is the case with Australian bride Nicola. With enough glitz to make Gatsby envious, Nicola’s Sydney affair, captured by the amazing Emilio B. Photography, looks straight out of the pages of a magazine. From arrival in a classic Royals Royce, to the breathtaking backdrop of Syndey’s Gunners Barracks, this soiree really dazzles. And adding to the glamorous vintage flair, Nicola chose our “Aislin” gown, complete with illusion champagne side paneling. Here’s one for the books!
From barefoot on the beach elopements, to rustic ceremonies in the French countryside, our brides tie the knot in some pretty amazing and inspiring locations. In November, bride Karen walked down the aisle in gorgeous Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. And not to be outdone amidst breathtaking views of the Pacific and ornate Spanish architecture, Karen looked every part the show-stopping bride in a our “Wisteria” gown. Customized with a draped pearl back, Karen’s “Wisteria” complimented her vibrant, exotic destination and festive bridal party exquisitely. Here’s a blissful look at Karen’s ‘happily ever-after’ in a south of the border Paradise.
Effortless and elegant. These two words perfectly sum up Renata and Alberto’s stylish July 11th nuptials in Valencia, Spain. For their modern-day fairytale love story, this stunning couple tied the knot against a romantic backdrop of the sea and sails. Renata channeled a modern-day princess in her “Peyton” gown, styled with a chic oversized tulle bow sash. When designing the “Peyton” gown, I wanted to create a ball gown with an appropriate amount of drama, but one that still offered a balance in being effortless and easy to wear to almost any destination wedding. Renata’s “Peyton” paired so perfectly with her locations- from sand to city harbor, and this collection of images, photographed by Jessica Marasovic, capture the chic spirit and ease of Renata and Alberto’s wedding flawlessly. This love story is nothing short of splendid!
I love it when brides decide to customize their wedding look. Whether it’s a small modification on a collection gown, or an entirely custom design – every bride’s vision is different, and we love to accommodate imagination. I was thrilled to receive these wonderful images from Bride Windy’s recent wedding, featuring a customized “Anastasia” gown. For her look, Windy wanted volume. She took inspiration from our “Aurelia” gown, and added a fuller skirt, complete with detachable train, to a sparkling “Anastasia” gown body. She also customized the bodice, and topped off her vision with some drop-dead gorgeous styling (look at that veil!). Her entire look is angelic and glamorous at the same time – and in perfect harmony with her vibrant bridal party. Photographed by Adrian de Los Santos, here’s a bright, joy-filled look at Windy’s wonderful wedding.
Intimate, timeless, and serene – garden weddings are always a favorite of mine. In September, radiant bride Danielle tied the knot at the magical Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga– the ultimate secret garden wedding venue. For her gown, Danielle wanted something elegant and vintage-y, while still feeling modern and unique. Pairing perfectly with her location, Danielle wore an “Aurelia” gown, customized just for her with sparkling Swarovski crystals and ivory pearls along the neckline, bodice, and thigh line. I loved working with Danielle to create her dream dress and something truly one-of-a-kind, and I was thrilled to receive this dreamy collection of images. Styled to perfection, Danielle looks every part the dazzling bride.
I LOVE receiving images from our lovely brides from around the world! It’s always so inspiring to see how different cultures and countries celebrate weddings and traditions. Needless to say, I was thrilled to receive these images from beautiful bride Olga and her new husband Dimosthenis–from their magical May ceremony in Athens, Greece. For her wedding, Olga chose our “Briarleigh” gown. When designing the whimsical “Briarleigh”, I imagined a bride tying the knot in an enchanted forest, or rustic stone castle or cathedral- and Olga did both! Saying ‘I do’ in a ceremony that married Old World traditions with New World flair, Olga and Dimosthenis started their ‘happily ever after’ with a celebration to remember!
GOWN FEATURED: “AURELIA” by Lauren Elaine.
Glamorous, romantic, and full of happiness…all come to mind when looking at these swoon-worthy images of Bride Sunshine’s summer wedding (photographed by Christopher Todd ) at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. I had the pleasure of meeting Sunshine at our Style House in Los Angeles in January, and working with her to customize her “Aurelia” gown and cathedral veil. Pearls and flowers on her gown and veil complimented the lush floral details throughout her wedding, and perfectly suited her effortlessly glamorous ceremony. Sunshine, much like her name – radiates beauty and happiness- which is flawlessly captured in this gorgeous collection of photos.
I have an obsession with desert landscapes. So, when I first saw these jaw-dropping images (by photographer Kathleen Hertel) from Nikki and Chris’s wedding ceremony on Jean Dry Lake bed outside of Las Vegas, NV, I fell madly in love (and very nostalgic for our SS2011 Black Label Campaign Film.) To compliment the unique and memorable location for her wedding, bride Nikki chose the “Bella” gown, and added to the free-spirit vibe of her wedding with a fresh flower crown. After saying ‘I do’ against this majestic mirage, Nikki and Chris celebrated at the famous “Pioneer Saloon.” A desert dream come true.
