With breathtaking desert mountain views in the background, and vistas of pepper trees in the foreground, bride Tal tied the knot to husband Ian in true California style. Splashed with color from start to finish, Tal and Ian’s wedding at Angeles National Golf Club merged tradition with playful celebration and an indoor/outdoor venue perfectly suited to it’s June date and West Coast location. To add a generous dose of glamour to her Los Angeles affair, Tal worked with us to create the perfect custom Lauren Elaine mermaid wedding gown. Inspired by our “Aislin” and “Jasmine” styles, Tal’s custom gown incorporated champagne underlay side paneling, 3D floral lace appliqués, and a plunging back with a show-stopping feathered tulle skirt with detachable cathedral train, and topped with a custom cathedral veil and blusher. But even more show-stopping than her gown and venue combined, gorgeous Bride Tal shines with happiness in these dazzling captures by photographer Yair Haim.
There are so many beautiful settings and hidden gem locations in California for weddings, and I love discovering them with each and every new bride we work with – especially our local Southern California brides! While a venue often helps guide a bride’s dress decision, there are certainly no rules. And I love seeing our brides photographed against such a diverse array of backdrops. Case in point: this gorgeous collection of images from stunning bride Marcela, in her Lauren Elaine “Aurelia” gown, at Crestmore Manor in Southern California. Mixing timeless elegance (venue!) with modern romance (gown!), and a mix of both indoor and outdoor settings -make for one gorgeous affair! Captured by photographer Joey Reger.
Fall is my favorite time of year. So, needless to say, when I first laid eyes on these gorgeous images by Lauren Louise Photography, featuring bride Taylor in her Cambria gown, I was blown away. Rustic yet modernly classic, this golden look at Taylor and Bruce’s nuptials at the Three Rivers Inn in Long Island New York captures the spirit of Autumn, and their love, so wonderfully. Pairing our chiffon Cambria gown with the rich colors and textures of this romantic East Coast backdrop is refreshing and unique, and truly epitomizes the crisp magic of Fall. Effortless and elegant. These two words perfectly sum up Renata and Alberto’s stylish July 11th nuptials in Valencia, Spain. For their modern-day fairytale love story, this stunning couple tied the knot against a romantic backdrop of the sea and sails. Renata channeled a modern-day princess in her “Peyton” gown, styled with a chic oversized tulle bow sash. When designing the “Peyton” gown, I wanted to create a ball gown with an appropriate amount of drama, but one that still offered a balance in being effortless and easy to wear to almost any destination wedding. Renata’s “Peyton” paired so perfectly with her locations- from sand to city harbor, and this collection of images, photographed by Jessica Marasovic, capture the chic spirit and ease of Renata and Alberto’s wedding flawlessly. This love story is nothing short of splendid!
I LOVE receiving images from our lovely brides from around the world! It’s always so inspiring to see how different cultures and countries celebrate weddings and traditions. Needless to say, I was thrilled to receive these images from beautiful bride Olga and her new husband Dimosthenis–from their magical May ceremony in Athens, Greece. For her wedding, Olga chose our “Briarleigh” gown. When designing the whimsical “Briarleigh”, I imagined a bride tying the knot in an enchanted forest, or rustic stone castle or cathedral- and Olga did both! Saying ‘I do’ in a ceremony that married Old World traditions with New World flair, Olga and Dimosthenis started their ‘happily ever after’ with a celebration to remember!
Two years ago today, a very special gown debuted down the aisle in Morro Bay, CA. Later named the “Cambria,” (after the beautiful beach town nearby), and now one of our most popular styles — this chiffon and horsehair beauty was actually custom designed from start-to-finish for my now sister-in-law, Janna. While I’ve shared a handful of images of Janna’s custom-designed rehearsal dinner dress, today I’m excited to share a very special look at Janna’s “Cambria” gown- in honor of her two year wedding anniversary! While it’s always such an honor to work with a bride and design the gown of her dreams for her wedding day, being able to create something special for family was a particularly rewarding experience.
