Who says you’ll never wear a bridesmaid dress again? I’ve been looking for an excuse to repeat my maid-of-honor gown (from my brother’s wedding last October) ever since I wore it almost a year ago. While I’ll admit that I’m a little biased–seeing as I design them–I’m always happy and flattered to hear from bridal parties who love their gowns and dresses so much, that they re-wear them to cocktail parties, and even weddings. As a bridal designer, I’m always striving to break the cliche when it comes to bridesmaid frocks- I enjoy designing gowns that are more red carpet, than bridal aisle. So even though I didn’t intend on recycling my MOH gown for the International Fashion Film Awards, when I spilled a glass of champagne down the front of my original all-white ensemble while primping, I wasn’t exactly devastated about my backup choice.
