SNEAK PEEK | Lauren Elaine Swim 2013

This past Monday we shot the Lauren Elaine SWIM 2013 collection campaign film and lookbook in Big Bear Lake, CA. The campaign film is a loose sequel of sorts to the previous SWIM campaign film, and stars Sabyr Omens and Frances Raye, with returning favorite Evan “The Thriller” Miller. The idea, theme, and style behind the video is something I’ve been wanting to try for awhile, and I’m so happy I finally got the chance. Watch the last film here!

Light and Spirit

Later this week we will be launching a new mini ‘LAINE by Lauren Elaine’ collection online. I like to describe the ‘LAINE’ line as bohemian Americana. Casual lifestyle pieces that are light and effortless with thoughtful, unique detailing, and full of spirit. LAINE is made in the USA, sweatshop free, and utilizes eco-friendly fabrics whenever possible.

Yesterday we did a shoot with pieces from the new collection. I’ve included a few camera-phone snapshots in this post. I hope you enjoy, and look for the new collection launching online soon…

This fashion film is directed by James Berry, edited by Josh Schaeffer, and shot by cinematographer Andrew Waruszewski-who also shot THIS SERIES. The film stars the beautiful Lauren Calaway, and Scott Ford. To learn more about the concept, production and story- READ HERE!

Best Of Fashion, Obsessions Video

L’Odyssee de Cartier

EPIC.

For those who follow me on twitter, you’ve probably seen the tweets about this-and know of my obsession. The new cartier film is purely EPIC. I first saw it when it aired as a “commercial.” In reality, it’s more of a fashion film. I guess Cartier decided to buy out entire commercial breaks during major network programming to air it in all it’s 3.5 minute glory. Again, EPIC. Take a look, and appreciate the magic:)
