BEHIND-THE-SCENES: Laine by Lauren Elaine SS2013
This past Monday we shot a “shipwrecked” themed lookbook for the new ‘LAINE by Lauren Elaine’ SS2013 collection in Malibu, CA. I had so much fun working with models Samantha Sergeant (returning ‘face’ of LAINE) and Kayla Renee Lewis, and styling them up with a huge collection of seashell and flower crowns. And with amazing makeup by Vanessa Venancio, they very much became my vision of bohemian mermaids:) Check out some of the behind-the-scenes photos below. Light and Spirit
Later this week we will be launching a new mini ‘LAINE by Lauren Elaine’ collection online. I like to describe the ‘LAINE’ line as bohemian Americana. Casual lifestyle pieces that are light and effortless with thoughtful, unique detailing, and full of spirit. LAINE is made in the USA, sweatshop free, and utilizes eco-friendly fabrics whenever possible.
Yesterday we did a shoot with pieces from the new collection. I’ve included a few camera-phone snapshots in this post. I hope you enjoy, and look for the new collection launching online soon…
